Reflections Told is a personal journal, written in retrospective form, recounting memories and as-lived experiences and exploring how they are not static moments in time but interconnected events tied to institutionalized and daily manifestations of power and systems of oppression.
This blog attempts to shed light on how women of color not only experience migration, patriarchy, and racism but also redefine and critique our worlds using the knowledge and language available at the time. All blog posts are based on my memories, experiences, photographs, and collected artifacts.
